Four days in Manchester, with people who don't know your job title.

The Reset is a four-day corporate wellness retreat for two people from your team, run alongside delegates from ten other companies so they can be honest without an audience from the office. No flights. No once-a-year scarcity. Send two more next quarter.

Stevenson Square, Northern Quarter, Manchester. Purpose-built, with every delegate staying on-site.

Most retreats sell escape. We built a reset you can come back to.

Flying a team somewhere warm once a year teaches people that wellbeing happens elsewhere. We took the opposite bet: a purpose-built facility in the city, a fixed evidence-based method, and pricing designed for a quarterly wellbeing or L&D budget rather than a one-off project fund.

OptionTypical modelWhere it falls short
Destination retreatsResort, flights, one flagship trip a yearHard to repeat within a normal budget cycle, and excludes anyone who can't take a week away
Wellness daysOn-site yoga, a talk, a smoothie bar, once or twice a yearAtmosphere without structure; little evidence the change lasts past the day

Structure WellnessPurpose-built Manchester facility, one four-day method, quarterly-repeatableBuilt to close all three gaps: same rooms, same method, same standard, every quarter

Four pillars, given equal weight.

A programme that only does mindfulness, or only fitness, helps the fifth of the room it happens to suit. Each pillar addresses a different cause of workplace depletion, so all four run through every day rather than as separate modules.

Sleep

Recovery isn't homework here. Every delegate sleeps on-site in their own acoustically treated sleep pod for all three nights.

  • Stress physiology and nervous-system education
  • Guided wind-down practice
  • A personal sleep and recovery audit to take home

Movement

Movement as a way to discharge stress, not a fitness test. Built around GRIDFIT, our own format of stations that scale in difficulty, not in kind.

  • Every level of fitness takes part in the same round
  • Strength and mobility scaled to every body
  • Outdoor walks and the roof terrace when weather allows

Fuel

Real, simple, sustaining food from our ground-floor restaurant, eaten together without phones. Not a diet talk.

  • Meals built to keep energy steady through demanding days
  • Nutrition you can keep up at your own desk
  • All dietary needs captured before arrival

Mindset

The psychological and interpersonal work: honest peer relationships built across company lines, values under pressure, and how you lead once you're actually recovered.

  • Cross-company small groups, held by trained facilitators
  • Structured honest-feedback work
  • A personal structure plan for the return to work

Why the name. "Structure" does two jobs. It's what we hold for people during the four days, in contrast to a working week that runs on other people's urgency. And it's what we hand back at the end: not a memory of relaxing, but a structure they can rebuild for themselves at their own desk.

The four days follow a fixed arc.

The order never changes, whichever companies are in the room. Days 1 and 2 build the trust that makes Day 3 possible; Day 4 turns insight into something people keep doing. Each day runs roughly 08:00 to 21:00. Select a day to see its timetable.

Lower the pace, establish safety and the rules of the room, form the two groups, and settle into the sleep pods.

Calm, welcoming and low-stakes. Nobody is rushed into opening up on Day 1; groups given room to settle do better on Day 3.

  1. Arrival, devices into lockers, name badges and sleep pods handed out
  2. Welcome circle for all 22: the four days, the four pillars, the group agreement
  3. Grounding and orientation Mindset
  4. Introduction to the nervous system Sleep
  5. Movement orientation: a first, gentle GRIDFIT Movement
  6. Values and intentions workshop: each person names one private intention
  7. First group circle: paired introductions, light prompts
  8. Dinner together, then an early night. No evening programme.

Why your people won't share a group with a colleague.

People are more honest with peers who don't sit two desks away on a Tuesday. Put someone in a small group with even one colleague and part of their honesty goes on managing how they'll be seen back at the office. Our group model removes that entirely.

  1. Eleven companies, two people each.Every cohort is 22 delegates from 11 organisations, so smaller companies get a programme at a scale they could never justify running alone.
  2. One from each company per group. Each company's first delegate joins Group A and the second joins Group B. No group can contain two people from the same company. It's guaranteed by how groups are built, not by checking afterwards.
  3. A studio each, for all four days.Group A works in Studio A and Group B in Studio B, with full acoustic separation. Returning to the same room builds safety faster and keeps each group's work private.
  4. Together for meals and the big moments. Both groups meet for meals, the welcome and closing circles, and a last lunch on Day 4 where colleagues from the same company finally sit together.

A building held for four days, overnight included.

Not a co-working space booked by the hour. Our facility on Stevenson Square, in the middle of Manchester's Northern Quarter, is purpose-built and ours, so the programme never breaks between sessions.

We chose the Northern Quarter on purpose. It has spent two decades rebuilding itself street by street without losing its character, which is exactly what we ask of every delegate: rebuild your capacity without becoming someone else, or leaving your life behind to do it.

Being in the city keeps The Reset affordable and repeatable, and proves the point we most want people to leave believing: a reset is something you can build close to your ordinary life.

      Confidentiality

We never disclose your participation without consent, and we ask that you don't ask delegates to report back on small-group content.

      If we can't run

If the facility is ever unavailable, your cohort moves to the next date at no extra cost.

This week is about capacity and connection, not therapy. We say that to every delegate on Day 1.

      Honest about scope

We build capacity and connection. We are not a clinical service. If something needs more support than we can offer, our lead facilitator activates a referral contact straight away and helps the person find the right place to take it.

      Held, not hosted

Facilitators are trained to notice, pace and protect what happens between people. The most demanding session of the week is only ever run by someone trained in that specific method.

      Honest about the building

Our building is multi-storey and not step-free throughout. Anyone with an access need hears from our lead facilitator well before arrival to talk through exactly what we can accommodate.

      Questions we're asked most.

If yours isn't here, ask it on the discovery call or in the form below.

      For HR and People teams

Why do delegates come from other companies?

Because people open up faster with strangers than with the colleague who'll be in Monday's meeting. It also lets smaller companies access a programme at a scale they couldn't run alone.

Will we see what our people said?

No. You receive aggregated, anonymised outcomes at 90 days. Individual survey responses and anything said in small groups stay confidential.

      Is this a jolly?

No. It's four full days with a real timetable from 08:00 to around 21:00, built on a fixed method. Delegates' workloads should be covered so they can be fully present.

      How much does it cost?

£1,295 + VAT per delegate, covering four days of programme, three nights on-site, all meals and the 90-day outcomes report. Most companies send two people, so a Standard Seat is £2,590 + VAT. Quarterly Partners pay £1,195 + VAT a place.

Can we have a shorter, two-day version?

No. The order of the four days is what makes Day 3 work and Day 4 stick, so we don't offer a cut-down version under our name.

      Can the programme be tailored?

Within the fixed arc, yes: for example senior-leader cohorts with more leadership content, or single-gender cohorts that still keep one person per company per group. We'll tell you plainly what flexes and what doesn't.

      Who is this best for?

People Directors proving wellbeing spend works, founders of smaller businesses who can't afford two key people burning out, L&D leads folding wellbeing into leadership development, and UK leads piloting something before proposing it group-wide.

      For delegates

Do I need to be fit?

No. Every GRIDFIT session has a genuinely equal lower-intensity option. Progress is measured round by round against yourself, not anyone else.

Will I have to share things I'm not comfortable sharing?

No disclosure is ever compulsory. The format is designed to make honesty feel safer than it usually does at work, but what you share is your choice.

      Where do I sleep?

On-site, in your own private sleep pod, for all three nights. Sleep is one of the four pillars, so we build for it rather than sending you back to a hotel.

      Can I keep my phone?

Devices go into a locker at reception for the working day, with one scheduled check-in window. If you need to be reachable in an emergency, we give you a contact line to share.

What if I need a break during a session?

The Quiet Room is always available. No explanation required, and nobody will ask why.

      What do I take home?

A printed personal structure document: a concrete plan for the 30, 60 and 90 days after The Reset, plus your own sleep and recovery audit.

      Book a discovery call.

Tell us a little about your organisation and we'll come back to you within two working days to arrange a call.

      1. We talk through your current wellbeing offer and which package fits.
      2. We agree a cohort date and send you the commercial terms in plain language.
      3. You nominate your delegates eight weeks out. We take it from there.
